The Boxing Ring Lamp 081 marks our first collaboration with an external designer. Envisioned and designed by Matthieu Doucet, a Brussels-based architect and founder of the Imprécis label, this piece draws inspiration from the graphic tension and structure of boxing rings. Its name echoes the silicone cord delicately wrapped around the stainless steel frame, suggesting both tension and protection. The lamp is composed of two layers: a lightweight inner structure inspired by Japanese paper, and a more abstract, architectural outer structure. A balance between tension and lightness, rigor and softness, the Boxing Ring Lamp 081 plays with contrasts and equilibrium. More than a lighting object, it is a sculptural piece, edited by Koge and crafted with demanding know-how, true to our approach to contemporary design.
