Worldwide Delivery Zones

At KØGE Design, we are delighted to ship our furniture, lamps, and home accessories worldwide. Our goal is to make our creations accessible wherever you are.

Important: While we strive to deliver worldwide, for certain very specific or remote destinations, logistical costs or complexities may become prohibitive after the order is placed. In these rare cases, we commit to contacting you very quickly to discuss possible options, including modifying or cancelling the order with a full refund if no viable solution is found.

Delivery Options and Services

Our standard delivery service, offered free of charge for all orders and destinations, is a "Threshold" delivery. This means the products are delivered to the entrance of your home on the ground floor, or to the entrance of your building.

For certain products and in specific regions (currently: Belgium, mainland France, Germany, the Netherlands, and mainland Spain - excluding islands), we may be able to offer enhanced delivery services, such as:

  • Delivery to the room of your choice.
  • Delivery with assembly and full installation.

These enhanced services are not standard and may incur additional charges. If you are interested in one of these options and are located in an eligible area, please contact us before or after placing your order, or check if the option is offered during the checkout process.

Production and Shipping Times

The majority of our pieces are made to order to ensure quality. The standard production time is typically 8 to 12 weeks BEFORE shipping.

In-Stock Products: Occasionally, we may have certain items in stock for faster shipping. If this is the case for a product you have ordered, we will contact you after your order to offer expedited shipping (within a few days). If timing is a critical factor for you, please do not hesitate to contact us by email (hello@kogedesign.com) or via chat BEFORE ordering to check availability and estimated timelines.

Transit Times: Once shipped, delivery generally takes a few business days within Europe. For deliveries outside the European Union, transit times may be slightly longer (typically 1 to 2 additional weeks) due to customs clearance procedures.

Shipping Costs

As indicated, standard "Threshold" delivery is always free, worldwide.

If enhanced delivery services (room of choice, assembly) are available for your order and location, the associated costs will be indicated during the checkout process or quoted if you contact us beforehand.

Customs and Taxes (Outside European Union)

For deliveries outside the European Union (including Switzerland, the UK, etc.):

  • Our goal is, whenever possible, to arrange DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) delivery, meaning we try to cover customs duties and import taxes so you don't have any surprises upon receipt.
  • However, the feasibility and costs of DDP delivery vary greatly depending on the country and products. If we cannot ensure DDP delivery at a reasonable cost, we will contact you after your order to inform you. We can then offer you:
    • DAP (Delivered At Place) delivery: The product is shipped, but you will be responsible for paying any applicable local customs duties and taxes directly to the authorities or the carrier to receive your package.
    • Order cancellation with a full refund if the DAP option does not suit you.
  • We are actively working to make this information more transparent directly during the checkout process, but the complexity is real. Never hesitate to contact us before ordering if you reside outside the EU and would like clarification on the import procedures for your country. We prioritize transparent communication with our customers.

Shipment Tracking

Once your order is prepared and shipped by us via our partner carriers, we will send you an email containing the tracking information (tracking number and link to the carrier's platform), allowing you to follow your package's journey.

Receipt and Verification (Damaged Parcel)

It is crucial to check the condition of your parcel upon delivery. As detailed in our Terms of Service, if you notice any visible damage to the packaging (dented, crushed, opened carton, signs of impact...):

  • Option 1 (Ideal): Refuse the delivery clearly stating the reason ("Damaged parcel") on the carrier's delivery note.
  • Option 2: Accept the delivery BUT make very specific handwritten reservations, dated and signed, on the delivery note (e.g., "Parcel arrived heavily damaged on the top right corner, contents subject to inspection"). A simple mention "subject to unpacking" without describing the damage is often insufficient.
  • In all cases (refusal or reservations): Contact us immediately (within 24 hours at the latest) by email at hello@kogedesign.com, attaching clear photos of the damaged parcel (before opening if possible) and/or damaged products, and a copy of the reservations if you made any.

Following this procedure is essential for us to be able to claim from transport insurance and quickly find a solution for you.

Packaging

We pay special attention to packaging to ensure the safety of your products during transport. We mainly use sturdy brown cardboard boxes and suitable cushioning materials, aiming to balance optimal protection with environmental respect.

Returns

For any information regarding the possibility of returning a product (right of withdrawal for consumers, conditions, procedure, costs), please consult our detailed Return Policy here: https://kogedesign.com/policies/returns-and-exchanges.
